I think it's ironic that if you heard what "african americans" are called in a lot of other countries....you'd be looking at the US a lot differently.

Which is sadly ironic because ******s is what Filipinos were called by US Army Soldiers during the Philippine American War.

There are black people in the Philippines, the aboriginal Aetas of Luzon. Known to Tagalogs disparagingly as "Baluga".

They use the word "Itim" for African Americans. It just means "black" but can be derogatory.
