The second of seven religious name changes planned by a Zion man — from In God We Trust to One Nation Under God — was approved Friday by Lake County Associate Judge Helen Rozenberg.
I can go that one better. A Reading Pa. bounty hunter/ bail bondsman wanted to change his name to " God". The judge refused it. He said it was his nickname and what criminals said when he caught them, " Oh, God." His business on the side: running a prostitution ring with many illegal asian prostitutes he branded or tattooed with his nickname " God". Now he's in prison.
The guy was a real defective.
"Under God, 59, said he's making the name changes to draw attention to the need for the Christian "unity" America had in the 1950s and because of the loss of "religious freedoms" in the United States, including school prayer."
You mean like the freedom to build an Islamic Community Center any damn place you please, so long as it complies with local zoning laws?
And if school prayer must be instituted, I guess he would be okay if twice a day the kids all got on their knees facing Mecca and said "Allah Akbar", then, huh?
Riiiiiiiiight.
