The response was "that the Christians tend to the sick and the poor, regardless of their religion or belief". This is what made Christianity Great, the ultimate sense of forgiveness and inclusion. Now this country was not founded as a Christian country (despite what the idiots Glenn Beck and Palin will tell you), Yet it was founded largely on Christian principals. No one here should be discriminated from owning and using land based upon their religion. It is a fundamental right granted by the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Should a Muslim cultural center be built so close to Ground Zero? No! That is a public relations nightmare and shows a deep insensitivity of the leadership of this movement to the pain that still remains from 9/11. Should we as Americans let them build this "cultural center" so close to a place that still exists as a wound in most of our memories? Absolutely! This shows the world why we are still a great country and we begrudge the beliefs of no one, as long as they come here for peace and posterity.

And lets face it, give it a year or two, it will go out of business and Donald Trump will pick it up for pennies on the dollar. New Hotel!!!

Constantine was a pagan also . He actually founded the ROMAN Catholic Church . He pretended to be christian to fool them into worshipping the Sun god'Sunday 'and made it against the law to judaize on Sunday ,therefore doing away with the Sabbath . Many christians were killed for not worshiping his sun god ,judaizing'spell' was a capital punishment .

The Ten Commandments have never changed , still the SEVENTH day not the first . I have no religian as yet because still studing , but I have studied much on anciate religans seeking the truth .

Muslism have been tryign to sublit the world to islam for centuries, it's their duty to submit , where it is the duty of christians and jews to only offer not a death sentice if you refuse .

This kind of demand is how islam gets in the door of a nation , first help with food and act kind , then force upon them your right to exist ,then as you build up inside start dividing the people to conquor . Just like they did the Africans ,first [ during the dark ages '1500s', long before europe was mghty ] ] they invaded N.Africa, took slaves ,set up black slave masters sent in armies to conctrol, now all of Africa just about is a war zone with islam pushing for more cointrol .

Same thing going in in europe, and starting here because of foolish appeasing complacent citizens . Don't forget the NOI Million Man March aka, BPP and the division tactic they used with whites and blacks . Ironic the blacks are joining their captives again because they have been taught to hate only the slavery of whites . This way islam can divide us and history shows the rest of the story .

Just have a rib joint go in next door so they can enjoy the sweet smell of burning pork. Or have some hot dog carts come around selling good old pork hot dogs. The best dogs all have some pork and beef, anyway.

Well, at least the hot dog/pork/bacon posters serve to clue us in that they've never set foot in NYC

: )

But was referring to the baffling perception that some posters seem to have that there isn't ALREADY a hot dog cart near the mosque or that a restaurant that sells pork isn't ALREADY next door. Bizarre. How likely would it be that these things don't already exist on a street in the oldest part of Manhattan?????

Obviously there are a lot of people on this thread who have never been to NY, NY, because if they did, they would find irony on every block!
