Conservapedia is the best website since the Onion!

The fact that its authors actually believe what they write only makes it all the more hilarious!

This is America, everyone is allowed to have their own opinions, and guess what, they don't need permission from anyone else (at least not yet).
Another argument that has it's roots based in the common misunderstanding of the word "theory". Just because something is a theory does not mean it is a wild idea that can be freely challenged by any other idea that someone else may fancy - that is the definition of a hypothesis. A theory is a empirical framework describing a process that has been proven and tested by combinations of direct observation, mathematical modelling, scientific experimention, etc. While it may be open to further refinement as more data is added, it is not an unproven idea that is simply waiting to be thrown out with the next discovery.

The theory of relativity has been scientifically tested to accuracies exceeding several billionth's of a percent. Everyday proof of this is evidence in telecommunications, GPS, microprocessors, etc, none of which would function without an intimate undestanding of the theory. Challenging it is not a matter of opinion - it's intellectual laziness.

People can have their own opinions. However Conservapedia equating the physics of general relativity to the philosophical position of moral relativity just because they sound similar is generally not what anyone with an IQ above pocket lint would find as an intelligent disagreement.

Conservapedia:Conservapedian relativity - RationalWiki

People are not mocking the disagreement, anyone is allowed to say/believe/think what they wish, but the completely stupidity and willful ignorance of their reasoning. The same protections that count to defend people's opinions censure, also defend the people who can mock the heck out of some one for their idiocy.

There is so much at Conservapedia, like the Lenski Affair and the FBI Incident, that it's a gold mine.

The theory of relativity is a mathematical system that allows no exceptions. It is heavily promoted by liberals who like its encouragement of relativism and its tendency to mislead people in how they view the world.[1] Here is a list of 24 counterexamples: any one of them shows that the theory is incorrect.

Yes, there is a war on brains.
I guess none of them use GPS-based systems since they only work because of "relativity compensators" in their alogrithims.

Maybe they think that is witchcraft?

If Einstein were alive, they would want him burned at the stake and accuse him of being a Communist, Socialist, Muslim.

I have a very low opinion of conservatives--at least those who describe themselves that way nowadays--but even I can't honestly say that site represents the majority of conservatives. Do you think George Will or Bill Kristol would defend these cretins?

Neocon Kristol was the one that convinced McCain to select Palin as a running mate, so it is possible that Kristol's sense leaves something to be desired as well.

I'm aware that Kristol is a neocon and that he also often misreads the political scene. Remember, he also brought us Dan Quayle. But the fact that he is a patron of idiots does not make him an idiot--at least not on the same level as "relativity deniers" (!)
