NEW YORK (AP) -- Rosie O'Donnell says she's out of the running to replace Bob Barker as host of "The Price Is Right."

O'Donnell, a superfan of the CBS game show, said on her blog Friday that she had a "nice lunch" with the show's producers.

Barker, 83, retired earlier this month after 35 years with the show, which is filmed in Los Angeles.

Although O'Donnell has said she would love to fill Barker's shoes, the 45-year-old comedian has changed her mind.

"Well, here's the thing: I don't really need a job," O'Donnell says in a video posted Sunday on her Web site. "I'm in a weird position. I don't need the money."

Hooray. Like Rosie or hate her, she wouldn't make a good Price is Right host!

She has no class. Hard to follow a class act like Bob Barker, but we don't have to scrape the bottom of the barrel and settle for someone like Rosie.

Well, all I can say is, just the thought of her screaming COME ON DOWN!! and then picture her hanging upside down in spandex. yikes!! we really dodged a bullet on that one!

I think Rosie's political agenda would have had to be mostly curbed if she was om the Price is Right- and I feel her niche is not in a game show.

Am not sure she is "right" for much these days, except to get herself into some intensive therapy.

I feel really sorry for all those children she has adopted. Frankly I am concerned for them. Rosie is a very unstable and angry person. I believe she has 4 adopted children. It is sad to me that just because she is famous and has money she is able to adopt. So many couples are waiting to adopt, why does she find it so easy to get children?

You have to wonder if she adopted them to use for an agenda or props. Her last stunt dressing a very young girl like a bullet draped terrorist is repulsive. Exploiting children has been her gig for awhile.
