HUGE difference.
Way to make up a scenario there to prove some point. How about Nasty Nancy and the NAACP calling the Tea Party racists? Heck, she even compared them to Nazi's too! Or the countless drones of "Only racists disagree with Obama" idiocy?

C'mon, you have to admit that it's a well used and abused theme in your party. Whenever someone disagrees, call them a racist to shut them up and denigrate their character.

whatyousay !!! ... You Are Well Within The Mark !

There are a few of our CDF buddies on here that appear to be absolutely consumed with the Nazi mindset and idealogy of the late 1930's until the end in 1945 !

The frequency of reference to A. Hitler and the Nazi's is seemingly ever increasing in regards to certain sectors of American Politics.

Is this a seriously alarming trend for our times or does this simply denote a shocking ignorance of factual world history ?

Perhaps in the final analysis "Ignorance" shall be the reasoning behind such occurances here on good old CDF.

Please research actual history and rely less on the pseudo PC version !

Thanks / Old Sgt. Lamar

Never said you yourself did, but many in your party do. Glad to hear you have higher standards and morals than resorting to those tactics.

According to that "logic" most European countries are Nazi societies.
If calling someone socialist doesn't work anymore than start calling people Nazis? As an European I find the thoughtless use of the term Nazi pretty ignorant.
"They also believed in a big powerful government that controlled people's lives"
Yeah, Hitler believed he could control everyone into believing what he believed in. How can someone compare that to today's social economies?
Btw, the universal health care was not introduced by Hitler, just to let you know. Just in case, you think that is a hint that Obama is a Nazi now.

I know grandsons of Holocaust survivors who would spit in the OP's face for freely throwing that term around.
Im a grandchild of holocaust survivors. I don't think it is at all disrespectful. Totalitarianism was a huge part of how nazi's accomplished there goals.

Well, the neo-cons pull the anti-semite card whenever someone criticizes Israel's policies. You have to admit that it's a well used and abused theme in the Republican Party.
These practices are annoying from both parties. That doesn't mean they arent't any racists and anti-semites out there.

So you think comparing this president, or these Target protestors, who haven't harmed any innocent people nor shared many if any paralels with Hitler, to the party that tortured and tried to kill your grandparents for the sole reason being their religion is fine?
