So, so true.

don't be fooled, its not appeasement, its lack of money

Mosque a long shot to be built - Maggie Haberman and Ben Smith - POLITICO.com

The Cordoba Initiative hasn’t yet begun fundraising for its $100 million goal. The group’s latest fundraising report with the state attorney general’s office, from 2008, shows exactly $18,255 — not enough even for a down payment on the half of the site the group has yet to purchase.

no blueprint, architect, lobbyist or engineer

Awww...isn't that nice? They're going to appease us. At least, shady and unidentified "insiders" say so. Of course, it makes you wonder what the payback for this gesture is going to be. But we can worry about that some other time!

Which is what makes so ludicrous the claim of certain people that it will open on 9/11/11.

So, does that mean the GOP is going to take the issue out of their campaign ads

Now, can you point out WHERE those profits are and the oil and the money? And WHO got it?

Was this from the first Gulf war, you know, where we razed Bagdad to the ground and stole their oil and treasure?

Or the second, where the oil, money and profits are just flowing into the US.

Not to mention the rumors that the "terrorists" were funding the project. This will be one of the shortest investigations on record.

The politicians that created this rabid furor are going to look very foolish when this is over if they decide to cancel the project.

I think the key words here are: "are considering giving up."

Waiting for the press to lay off?

Quinnipiac University Poll indicates for NY City 52% against and 31% in favor, Manhattant 46 % in favor and 31% against.

Ground Zero Mosque - Poll Says Majority of New Yorkers Not in Favor - Metropolis - WSJ

Also interesting was the poll on Obama's comments where 41 % indicated they didn't have enough information to form an opinion.

Not to worry. The State Dept just funded a trip for him to the ME to spread love and peace. They didn't ask for an itinerary nor details of what he will be doing. So he could very well be on a fund raiser trip..a mosque fund raiser trip.

Now that this is plastered all over every news channel worldwide, the ME is very well aware of what he wants to do and how Americans are upset.

Betcha he not only gets his money but then some.
