So, lets say you wake up and you're president. What would you try to do? it seems like a lot of people on this forum are angry with the direction of this country.

-religious freedom
-immigration
-deficit

Start by figuring out what Bammer would do, then do the opposite.

1) Get out of the business
2) Fight it to win then move forward
3) It ain't broke..don't fix it
4) Legal or illegal
5) Stop spending
6) Shrink the gov't..most tax revenue to the States
7) Please..the gov't can't regulate themselves...
8) Prevent as much as possible

Sorry for the sarcasm....Not an easy fix at this point. Would take some serious thought.

Pretty sound though.

My first and only action as president would be to resign. I'd like to think I have more sense than to want that job.

healthcare - eliminate prexisiting conditions, let competition reign.

war- Bring home all of our troops and close all of our international bases.
We are not an empire and are not here to change socieites and cultures to our liking. Secure the boarders with all of our military might.

religious freedom- Government and religion do not mix. Government will not have a say in where when or how people wish to worship.

immigration- see war
deficit- Austerity now. We have to be more repsonsible with our hard earned taxpayer dollars. Congress will not enact one more additional ounce of spending until a 50% reduction in the deficit takes place.

taxes- an across the board tax cut of 20%. Everyone should have the benefit of reaping the most rewards of hard work, entrepreneurship, determination, education.

corporate regulation- Too big too fail is no longer in our vocabulary. Free Markets are regulated by competetion. We do not have free markets in this country. We have Oligopolies working in collusion to screw the consumers. The only regulations I would enforce would be those to promote more competition.

terrorism-Border security. The war on terror has become as laughable as the War on Drugs. You can not hold a war against an undefined enemy.

Finally and most importantly the legalization of Marijuana will finally take place under the Sirros administration.

Who's voting for me?

Hire reasonable people to help me sort out the broken parts of daily life, and make it better for all living things.
