Recently, there have been reports that most of the oil has disappeared from the Gulf of Mexico, but according to studies done by the University of Georgia and the University of South Florida this is simply not true. As much as 79% of the oil is still in the Gulf according to these studies. Why were we told it was gone? Is it so the present administration can take credit for solving a crisis that is not solved?

Lying is what politicians do.

Best description I've heard of politics is; "The deception of many for the benefit of few".

Dude BP is so much more powerful than the average American knows. BP is so powerful that they were the lobby behind the CIA overthrow of a legally elected Iranian govt back in the day, just because the president wanted to nationalize the oil. East India Trading company people. BP has money power and influence no way the cowardly pandering Obama administration takes them on.

Experts are saying the oil is headed towards a pristine area east of Panama City, FL. This will affect marine wildlife in that area. The sad thing is we will be seeing the aftermath of this crisis for years to come.

Can you please give links that show what group is responsible for the reports you mention, to back up your claim that the present administration somehow was intended to benefit from them?

Oh. Okay. Was it the LA Times blog post, "Gulf oil spill: Possible health effects assessed in medical journal commentary"?

Are you saying you get your political opinions from the first thing that catches your fancy at Google?

WHO said the oil was gone?

BP lied from the start in their reports of how much oil was gushing out per day....you expected TRUTH from a corporation ?
