Also, lost tax revenues. Rental income is taxable, and these women performing sex in exchange for living arrangements is income to them, so niether was paying taxes when sex was used instead of money.
I'm sure taxes would be declared if the activity was deemed legal. It's no different than painting one's walls or offering concert tickets in exchange for some or all of the rent. It also helps to show why taxing income is about the dumbest idea "civilized" societies have invented, because it's so easy to circumvent.
We are losing our morals but this is no different then standing on the side of a road and call services whatever a hooker is a hooker.
Respectfully disagree. Blackmail absolutely makes it both different and illegal. Unless of course your moral compass is such that you think there is nothing wrong with blackmail or sextortion.
Imagine had they been males. They would have actually had to come up with money for the rent.
It never ceases to amaze me how people can devise the mose nepherious plans when in fact, if they applied that much effort and ingenuity towards something respectible, they would certainly earn the money they needed and MORE.
I am thinking that their lodging accommodations might be taken care of by the County or State for the next couple of years.
Morals, Smorals. This kind of crap has been going on since the dawn of time. This guy is just as much of a scumbag as these women. The term people is GRIFTERS. That's exactly what these chickees have been doing probably for quite some time.
Also, the thread title leads to the conclusion that trading sex for rent is somehow the responsibility of the government to intervene.
What? no really, maybe you missed the actual title of the thread which clearly states "need proof morals are going down the drain"...Now explain to me how on earth you came to the conclusion it is misleading or implies that anyone thinks it is the governments responsibility.Oh wait you can't..

meh. Your discriminating statement after the link makes no sense.
If you want to really be high up on your 'morality' horse there, you never should've pointed out the gender specifics.
Afterall, the gender of all parties involved is a moot point.

you can and do tax illegal income. What do you think they convicted al copone on?
When you commit crimes, like drug dealing, the crime they can and do get you on is not declaring the income and thus not paying taxes on it, even if the source of the income is illegal. You still have to delcare it and pay taxes on it.
