This goes against the views of the vast majority of scientists who believe the rise in the earth's temperatures is due to pollution. Interesting excerpt. I am sure the laymen have a better understanding however of the forces affecting the earth...let's go back to American Idol now.

Or maybe the laymen dont have to worry about losing federal grant money! Can you be a little more accurate on that VAST MAJORITY figure?

You are right---why even have scientists. Think about all of the federal money that would be saved!

No I can't be more specific on the vast majority figure - I took that straight out of the article that you posted for us. Thank you!

Unhappy "Reality" is not a democracy

Just because a majority of people believe something, it doesn't make it true. One of the reasons that AIDS is so rampant in Africa is because most Africans think that white men put AIDS in condoms... does that make it true? A majority of the people living in Israel do not believe that Jesus is the son of god, does that make it true (even for that area)? A majority of US kids under 5 years old believe in Santa Claus, the Tooth fairy, and the Easter Bunny... do I need to keep going?

BTW, Here is another excerpt from the article Silias777 posted...

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which represents most scientists, stated earlier that the increase in global temperatures is 'very likely due to the observed increase of man-made greenhouse gas concentrations'.

They define very likely as 'more than 90 percent certain'.

I hope all "global warming apologists" are as effective as you, that was a nifty little article Silias!

Agreed. More than half of the people on this planet are either Christian or Muslim (monotheist).
