How Smart are we?
I loved a response I saw on The Partime
President
where someone said ... while NO was drowning, and
the reply was New Orleans was going to drown regardless of what anyone did.
My question is, How smart are we? How many dollars (Millions or Trillions) are we going to sink into
a city that is under sea level.
If I wanted to save a bar of soap, I wouldn't put it in a bowl of water.
Isn't this an example of, we as Americans, fail to us commonsense?
Kind of reminds me of the show "Are You Smarter Than a 5th
Grader?"

Right now I am watching a re-run on CSPAN "Gulf Of Mexico Oil Spill & Seafood Safety"( dtd Thursday
) and wonder how much mercury and other chemicals are added to our seafood every time a hurricane
hits New Orleans.
So I would like to ask Rep. Edward Markey (D), since he is concerned about our seafood and our
health and well being, has he ever thought about this?
It's kind of like, taking a gun and asking yourself; what foot do I want to shoot myself in?
Rep. Edward Markey (D) says this hearing is so BP knows, this is not going away.
My questions is how much of the oil and other chemicals is damage from hurricanes?
Yes BP is responsible but, in my opinion that damage has been going on ever since New Oleans exists
below sea level.
I may hold BP 80 percent responsilble but not 100 percent.
Am I to understand that every time New Orleans is hit by a hurricane that there is no oil leakage,
no gasoline leakage, mercury, formaldehyde,
etc?
So is Obama going to hate CSPAN now?
I can see BP and Britain both coming up with a strong defense based on this.
Let us remember Britain is an Ally.

BP is not Britain

BP is no one's ally any more than IG Farben (Bayer), Massey Mining or Thyssen -Krupp
they are in the business of making money no matter ho9w many die
