Stimulus Money is Not the Answer - The Daily Beast

Quote:
The net result of Obama's failed policies is that consumers are reluctant to spend, entrepreneurs are reluctant to invest, and employers are reluctant to hire to the degree necessary to spur economic growth.

Obama's $787 billion economic stimulus package has failed to live up to the lofty expectations and predictions of the administration, and has failed to create the amount of jobs necessary to significantly reduce the unemployment rate.
Now THIS will leave a mark. Ouch!

Shoen, Carville, Greenberg and other dem pollsters have been waving the red flag for the better part of a year.

See, the American people were willing to give him a shot with his stimulus, but once that was shown to be a miserable failure, the opposition to another $2.5 Trillion entitlement was huge. Since obama's ego knows no bounds and the dems were desperate to give him a "victory", no matter the cost and opposition from the people, they cemented their disdain for the American people.

The reality here is twofold. One, employment is the LAST economic indicator to recover when there is an economic downturn. Two, Obama wanted a bigger stimulus package but between "Blue Dog" Democrats and Republicans there is no way it would get through Congress.

Consumer spending still isn't coming back. The government was basically powerless to actually accomplish this feat, but it didn't stop the morons from trying. It will take a decade (likely two) to get anywhere near a moderately prosperous economy. The longer government interferes, the longer the prospective into the future (could be quarter of a century the way they're going now)

Never give up hope. The People's Revenge, Election Day, is rapidly approaching. I'm thinking 60% of us have this figured out and will vote accordingly. Pelosi will be dethroned, Obama will move to the center as Clinton did or get nothing done.

dont blame the republicans, when the steal from us package was put forth in congress, the democrats had a super majority in congress, and could have passed ANYTHING they wanted to and there was nothing the republicans could do to block anything.

also the democrats shut the republicans out of everything.

sanrene !!! ... On The Money !

It truly appears without a shadow of a doubt that "The One" and crew will in all likelyhood be remembered in factual American History as an unprecedented "Epic Failure" !

The American People must in no wise repeat the same horrendous mistake at the polls in 2012 !

Thanks / Old Sgt. Lamar

Don't you just love how the democrats continue to try to blame republicans? I LOL'd at Jazzytallguy's post, literally. I guess that's hard-wired into their thinking... when the democrats fail at ______, somehow try to blame republicans for your own shortcomings.

Literally, that is all they got.

Obama ticks off his list of legislative "successes", but none of the democrats up for re-election want to tout just what they have accomplished over the last year. Now, why is that?

Because the legislation they rammed down American's throats and the way they did it, is so unpopular, they CAN'T take the chance of reminding people of what they have done.

Don't worry though, we're going to remind the people all they have done with their unfettered power.

Aren't you getting tired of apologizing for Obama's policies?
