Women fully veiled are no threat to the feminist whereas Palin is all woman. Any woman that acts like a woman, looks like a woman, dresses like a woman and believes you don't kill your own is abhorrant to the feminist.
Sharia law to too hard to understand for feminists...Sarah is an easier target and feminist don't want a Fatwa on their head, just as Obama is affraid to come out and say he denounces to be a muslim...which he is unless he denounces it, since he was born from a muslim father.
The benefit for Palin is that the more the people are against her the more popular she is becoming
please find me a feminist who condones sharia law.

It would appear that you have done no reading or research on this matter, just assumptions, and opinions.
1) Which Sharia Law are you referring to? Modernist, Traditionalist, or Fundamentalist? Which country of origin of Sharia Law are you referencing? Sunni or Shi'a? Saying "Sharia Law" is like saying "Christianity", there are many varieties.
2) The feminists I know do not support institutionalized oppression of women regardless of the religion involved. Extremist Islamic treatment of women is abhorrent.
3) Go to the N.O.W website, search for Islam, and you'll see the many campaigns they are involved in.
4) There are many great Islamic feminists, look them up, and learn a little. Nayereh Tohidi, Shaheen Sardar Ali, Fereshteh Ahmadi, Leila Ahmed, Irshad Manji, Riffat Hassan.
5) Do your own research about Rauf, don't rely on the hate-sites. Rauf's wife, Daisy Khan is well known in the feminist community.
6) You do realize that Muslim countries have produced seven heads of state right? US = 0.
Benazir Bhutto - Pakistan
Mame Madior Boye - Senegal
Tansu Ciller - Turkey
Kaqusha Jashari - Kosovo
Megawati Sukarnoptri - Indonesia
Khaleda Zia - Bangladesh
Sheikh Hasina - Bangladesh
Bangladesh was the first country in the world to have one female head of state follow another.
7) Sarah Palin is an idiot.
Thanks for the info. You are right, I didn't study it, because I'm not a Feminist in the Liberal sense. LOL! But, I knew someone could direct me to some information to get started. Thanks again.
And really, I wasn't focusing on Sarah even though the article by Doug Giles does. I was just wondering if Hanbali Sharia Law were implemented, how could that happen with the Feminist Movement in this country? I think they would be screaming bloody murder about it.
Another thing, I think that Sarah is a great American patriot, but I don't think I would vote for her for President. Although, if I had to choose between her and Obama, she would win hands down.
I read a poll a few weeks ago that was asking if the election was now would they vote for a Democrat or a Republican. The majority said - Republican. Not even knowing who was running they were leaning that way. Pretty interesting.
There are four main schools of Sharia law: Hanbali: This is the most conservative school of Shari'a. It is used in Saudi Arabia and some states in Northern Nigeria.
Hanifi: This is the most liberal school, and is relatively open to modern ideas.
Maliki: This is based on the practices of the people of Medina during Muhammad's lifetime.
Shafi'i: This is a conservative school that emphasizes on the opinions of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad.
Hanbali concerns me the most.
