Germany, like most other European nations, doesn't coddle crybabies. If you want Euro-"capitalism", you have to deal with the doggy dog world of political correctness whining going unnoticed. How's that going to play with the poor who feel a sense of entitlement to a better lifestyle, or to certain minorities who cry out for social justice? Not very well, I would imagine.
Oh we have an expert on Germany here!
Could you explain how Germany "doesn't coddle crybabies" anymore than any other Western European country?
The fact of the matter is Germany's social safety net and health care system is on average more generous than the typical European countries.
You're already too late. The tide has started to turn. The 2009 was the first year the majority of babies born in this country was non-White. The train is leaving the station and it isn't coming back. Even if you curtail illegal immigration. Latino families are having significantly more children than White families.

The German culture does not tolerate slackers, period. Their outrage over Greece is clear evidence of that. My post-doctoral collaborator working in Geneva is in touch with many Germans and they are p***ed. Also, politicians do not grant extensions on unemployment, ever. They realize that while their safety net is generous, they will not literally coddle people just because of an economic slump. Eventually, the "sink or swim" attitude is adopted and many people living here would be literally whipped into shape if they lived over there.
