Anybody who has watched the fantastic HBO series, The Wire, knows that just such a person was utilized by the police. More for the slang/nomenklature than for bad grammer.

Creating new dialects is a way to seperate yourself from the mainstream and one reason we have such problems with race and status in the country.

Dialects arise naturally, no one sets out to develop them. Some linguist estimate that there are at least 24 different dialects in the U.S.
