Poll: Nearly 3 in 10 Support Tea Party - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

Glenn Beck can claim anything he wants, but the teabaggers not only aren't popular, but only 13% of the 'baggers identify themselves as Democrats..lending more credence to the charge that this is almost exclusively a Republican movement. Something else interesting too:

Palin continues to receive unfavorable ratings from the American public overall. Just 23 percent of Americans have a favorable opinion of Palin, while 40 percent view her unfavorably.

Well, if it ever was bipartisan, something that's debatable, it no longer is now..for hijacked it's been.

Therefore the teabaggers must be looked upon and dealt with the same way as any other RW movement is...

If it's only 29%, why so much hand wringing and smearing from the left?

Just seems like you all put an inordinate amount of time into trying to discredit something that has supposedly been marginalized (let this thread be yet another example).

Seeing that Palin's numbers are a mere plurality, I don't see anything significant about this poll at all.
