A friend said this morning that the U.S., under Obama, submitted a “Universal Periodic Review report” to the United Nation’s Human Rights Council.

Does anyone have a reliable news source for this?

Thank you.

Boy I hope it's not true, but nothing this guy does would surprise me anymore.

We do not need a leader who disregards this nations sovereignty.

The United States lists its legal challenge to Arizona's immigration enforcement measure on a list of ways the government is protecting human rights. It's part of a report to the United Nations High Commissioner on Human Rights.
The Associated Press: Brewer condemns report to UN mentioning Ariz. law

If the Administration believes that human rights are being violated, they have a responsibility to report it.

Yes, sadly true.

Brewer condemns report to UN mentioning Ariz. law - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100828/ap_on_re_us/us_brewer_un_report - broken link)

Quote:
"The idea of our own American government submitting the duly enacted laws of a state of the United States to 'review' by the United Nations is internationalism run amok and unconstitutional," Brewer wrote.
He has to go and Obama please take your diseased administration (and it's supporters) with you.

There is no responsibility to report anything to the UN. There is however a responsibility to uphold his oath of office which includes enforcing the borders of the US.

Where in our Constitution are we obligated to subjugate (or report one of our own) to the U.N.?
And who's rights have been violated?

Maybe someone will ask the Constitutional scholar himself... that's if he has the balls to hold a press conference.

As with most of the things Obama does, this will undoubtedly backfire. I expect more and more Americans to support withdrawing US membership in the UN. Without the US, the UN would be nothing. I hope I'll live to see the day when New York City is cleased of the UN headquarter.

Don't make me laugh here, Obama uphold his oath of office, which includes enforcing our Borders, Obama is out there on this, he seems to lack all empathy for what we Americans have to put up with, in regards to illegals invading our Country. He lacks common knowledge on this subject, which does not surprise me in the least.

Obama and the Liberals...

defending and enabling scofflaws and demonizing patriots

as they relentlessly bankrupt, and betray, this Nation.

Pathetic beyond belief...
