Indeed, a relative of mine, a 'tea party' person, was rather unpleasantly surprised to hear Mr. Beck state, on some interview this weekend, that he was Mormon. My relative (50ish, lazy, on disability for 15 years due to being 'depressed' even though he can rebuild his house and go to football games) believes that being Mormon is 'suspect' (like Muslims).

Since he watches Mr. Beck's television show all the time, I was surprised that HE was surprised. I will be interested to see if he still sprouts off Beckisms to me all the time.
I agree. The Mormon religion preaches that the Black race is an adomination and being born Black is some kind of punishment from God. Joesph Smith the founder of the religion said from his very own mouth that Blacks could never be worthy of Jesus.

Maybe thats why Beck has so much hatred of Obama. Based on his religious beliefs he doesn't think Obama is worthy to be president.

Well, since my relative is racist (he proudly owns up to it), he may well end up joining the Mormons.

Well make sure he knows that Jesus wasn't a racist. And any sinful interpretation from the Bible that justifys hating a race is Un-Godly.

Mormons do not believe that any more. However, Beck is old enough to have grown up with that belief.

I saw that link yesterday about Black Mormons Katiana. I couldn't believe it. Me personally I could never be a Mormon based on the History. If Jesus would of said what Joesph Smith said about Blacks back in the day. I would not be a Christian today.

The Pillsbury Doughboy could beat Obama today. All he would have to do is say that he would not allow the new taxes coming to us on January 1, 2011 to be charged and enough people would vote for him.

Have you noticed, gal, that many of these lefties are unhappy with Obama because he hasn't delivered on the socialism they thought he would bring them? They are sitting at home with their hands out waiting for the next government check and don't get enough of them, yet.
