Obama provided the largest two-year tax cut in US history. Bigger than Bush's. Bigger than Reagan's. And it was indeed targeted to the middle class. Make an upper-middle class salary and above, and you don't get all the breaks. Doesn't sound like you've been paying much attention on this.

You create victims and then feel you own the people to do your bidding and your voting. But what about the liberal Catholics? They are typically democrats and forerunners for communisim in third world countries and by God they are bible thumpers as well. As for me, I am rooted in reality and do not thump. I am socially liberal but fiscally conservative. I believe in God, borders and the constitution. I do not care about your sex life, my neighbors, nor do I demand you raise your children the way the liberal government wants you to raise your children. Our issues are far graver than just sex or sexual preferences or if a person wants to worship God. So I will vote for the people who will keep our country safe and bring back jobs and not oppress our people with socialisim, Marxisim or any other isim. Thanks

repubs are notorious for their anti-homosexual mentality. And yes, i do know that Lincoln repubs exist. That is a fringe group.

Then i consider you an anomaly in the repub party then. It's rare that i encounter someone like you with your liberal social stance.

But what stikes me funny is that you believe in god, and have liberal stance when it comes to homosexuals. MOST "god fearing" believers are very interested in homosexual sex. (not the act)

Neither one of you knows enough to know that it's Log Cabin Republicans, and they are not a fringe group. Click the link and check out the list of speakers at their National Dinner coming up later this month.

When i say fringe, i mean their voice is not heard from your regular republican. In other words, their voice is over shadowed in their party when it comes to gay rights.

Actually, the tax increase applies to everyone who purchases tobacco products, whether they be rich or poor. And Obama promised at every campaign stop that he would immediately sign the S-CHIP expansion twice vetoed by Bush, and that measure had been paid for through increased tobacco taxes from the moment it was first drafted, so anyone who was surprised to see those taxes come into being was no doubt guilty of having paid no attention at all.

do you not pay any attention to statistics? is it mostly middle class people smoking, or is it poor people. my statement was 100% accurate. he taxed the living crap out of the poorest americans, and you are starting to sound like an apologist. it would be like him putting a huge tax on malt liquor.

Whoever says that democrats don't espouse a moral code, foolish. Morality may not be strictly biblical, but there is an underlying moral though behind the actions of liberal vs. conservative principles.

To answer the OPs question: Liberal by a few miles. First, not every conservative is anti-gay pro-marraige holier-then-thou. I'm certainly not. Secondly, the affects of each decision is completely 180 degrees from eachother. The conservative who leaves his wife or comes out of the closet affect no one but himself. He isn't asking people to pay for his own ideals or problems. The liberal is expecting other people to pay for their ideals.
