The whole Obamacare law will, over time, drive independent insurance companies out of business (those bad old companies just did it for profit!).
At that time you will have a government monopoly driving your health care like they drive your welfare. So we will all have a welfare healthcare. The feild will have been leveled and the wealth will have been spead. But really, speading the wealth will be a joke, the poverty will be the real thing spread.
Way to go, don't rise up to a strong man's level, drag him down to yours .
I hope all of the Obamacare supporter get exactly what he layed out.

Are there a few things that would make it a good thing? What?

It's a small step in the right direction. Coulda/shoulda been better, but with all the opposition from the insurance industry, it's almost a miracle it even went through at all.

You sound like my hubby.

However, with the IRS involved I am sure that won't work.

We will not have to pay tax on our health insurance benefits, that is one of the myths that is going around.

4. The law requires you to begin to paying taxes on your health insurance next year.

This is a classic misunderstanding. Starting next year, employers that provide health insurance will have to begin putting on workers' annual W-2 forms the amount they contribute to workers' health insurance premiums. But the law doesn't change the tax treatment of those premiums — they're still exempt from income tax.
Wow .. brilliant. A "classic misunderstanding" ? Here's a multiple choice question for you:

Why do you think they are requiring this information be included on a W-2 ?

1) the government just loves larger forms

2) Who knows why government does what it does

3) I think it's just a conspiracy theory

4) THEY INTEND TO TAX IT

This is not a trick question.

It's a good start, but more should be added to it over the years.

Much better than what the GOP was proposing: Big goose egg.

Ahh yup, when the facts show the conspiracy theories about the stuff on the W2 forms is wrong, lets make up stuff. Its there to show people are getting covered. Its not taxable, and anyone who has even the SLIGHTEST bit of reading comprehension skills should be able to realize that.
