"In a speech that was part Democratic campaign push, part policy prescription, President Obama on Monday proposed a $50 billion investment in long-term infrastructure projects that he claimed will stimulate the flailing economy, create jobs and refill the exhausted federal highway trust fund."

FOXNews.com - Obama Campaigns for Democrats on New Infrastructure Investment Plan

Isn't this how the first stimulus bill (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act)was pitched and we got turtle tunnel infrastructure, Obamasigns and a whole lot of research grants?

Oh wait, this is different?

"The president said the project will be paid for -- assuming congressional support -- with tax hikes on oil and gas companies and will cut waste and bureaucracy by consolidating more than 100 duplicative programs."

If they tax the oil and the gas companies who does the president think those taxes will be passed down to? I guess he doesn't drive to work or pay to heat his home. Come to think of it, he's not middle class.

I predict this will raise both taxes on the middle class and Glenn Beck's audience numbers.
