There is no double standard. We do expect Muslim tolerance and respect for people. And we understand that when you show tolerance and respect you often get it back and return. And when you show intolerance and disrespect, which you advocate, that you hardly ever get tolerance and respect in return.

abortion, women's rights, and gay rights also annoy and anger muslims. S hould we give those up too so muslims don't get mad at us?
Please allow an educated Muslim woman to explain to you how she considers she has the rights to be a woman,before you comment on that. I have in fact been in discussion with a number of women(Muslims)on this very point and their response was enlightening.
Plenty of gays in the Asian Muslim world,Indonesia and Malaysia,but are thinner on the grund in the middle east. But yes there is a lot of strong views towards gays and abortion too.
