We sadly have a huge underclass of the dumbed down, who tune in to these two clowns regularly, as well as a vapid younger pseudointellectual group, with a need to counter "establishment". Without their "diverse" following, and in a saner period, they would still be at the back of the class, trying to get into Hollywood. Well, now all the anti-establishment boys are in position, including the one in the WH. Maybe they can all meet and greet next to the only giant who will be in their midst...a seated Lincoln.
Well, if they have the rally, I hope they invite Ed Schultz to be a co-sponser.
Poor guy had a near meltdown after Beck's success, and would really, really love to have more than 12 people show up for his. If he headlines with Colbert, he may be able to avoid a total breakdown!

I agree with you on this, Ed Schultz will probably have a poor turnout.
How dare they hold a rally on the 72nd aniversary of Orson Welle's braodcast of War of the Worlds. That's a day that is sancrosanct to the inducing fear movement.
I love how conservatives try to claim the mantle of Lincoln, as if he's one of their own. Lincoln was considered a radical leftist in his day. The conservative states in the South seceded from the union.
I've never watched Stewart's show, and I've only seen Colbert's show once, but I thought his wordplay was brilliant. I live 9 miles from DC----I'll probably go. I feel sorry for anyone who considers hucksters and con artists like Beck to be leaders. He's even called himself a rodeo clown.
"I don't give a flying cr@p about policy, we're an entertainment company"
Glen Beck, from an interview in Forbes Magazine in

Well, until we are no longer able to voice preferences in this country, clowns too have the right to choose one side or the other.
It would be nice if someone held a rally restoring truth but nobody capable of attracting a crowd is qualified to do that.
Outsource to the Hoar of Babylon?
How's that Iraqi thing working out, anyway?
