The news media is bashing the Florida preachers decision to burn Korans. The same military brass that is asking him not to do it are the same ultra PC brass that knew the Ft Hood terrorist was an extremist but kept quiet out of fear of losing their careers. The enemy is still going to want to kill US soldiers and not burning them is not going to make them anymore safer. The media bashing of this mans constitutional right to burn the Korans is another example of our counties out of control PC culture.

Why doesn't that Idiot Obama ask Muslims to stop burning American Flags????

Better yet maybe the TRAITOR in Chief can ask them to stop the beheadings and suicide bombings.

Maybe Obama can say pretty please with sugar on top. What a total CLOWN obama is by giving this 1 preacher in the middle of nowhere with a hand full of followers a National stage.

Way to go IDIOT. Now go back and concentrate on the economy before the rest of the Country rises up and stones you (Muslim style).

I think it's stupid to burn Qurans... it's not like you are going to gain anything from burning a book that is widely reproduced. It's not like it's the last copy. But people should go ahead and do it because they want to.

I think people should show up and burn the Bible, the Torah, and the American flag too, just for the heck of it. Go, Anarchy!

It's fascinating that you know so much more about the risks our troops are facing than General Petraeus. Tell me more.

How PATHETIC we have become. If the situation in Afghanistan is so fragile that this type of incident will "endanger the overall effort" there then shame on us. We **** and moan any time someone here in the US is politically incorrect, but now we're ready to abandon the right to free speech because some people who want to kill us no matter what are against it. Time to stand up for who we are, even if the middle east doesn't like it

Book burning has a bad history in this country and it stands for ignorance, intolerance and a forced sameness in everyone. It also doesn't work and instead backfires. I don't know why anyone would be in favor of a public book burning. I also don't know how anyone could participate without feeling really really stupid. There are other ways to get rid of books you don't like besides making a public spectacle of yourself.

Right. And if a few more of the men and women who are actually risking their lives fighting for those freedoms die because we're so coarse in exercising them, well, so what. They knew what they signed up for. Screw 'em.

To each his own, I am so tired of having freedom for some and condemning others. I am sick of the PC left saying it one way and not to the others. If someone wants to burn a Koran, a Bible, A Torah....that is their freedom. Enough of taking our freedom of expression away. If you have the right freedom of expression - like burning the flag or the bible then hey!!! we are okay with that. What is up with this S**T. It is either okay for everyone, or not okay for anyone. We hit the not okay with anyone we are being controlled and freedom is lost.
