I think they said the initial cut was 500,000... they are saying that amount is the minimum.

My guess is that this is merely the beginning of a significant transformation which will continue to unfold piece by piece to avoid too much unemployment.

What surprises me is how little coverage this thing is getting given how monumental the situation is.

It's 360 to the current administration's agenda of growing the government to give people jobs.
