Pretty disgusting when you think about it. It's ultra far right, only for the rich and big business and nothing else. The #2 reason for the the economic crash next to the wars was the tax cuts for the rich. Anyone that supports them are unamerican and see to get their heads checked.

I guess the hardcore base of the Republican Party let Boehner know that they weren't too happy with the idea of a compromise. What a shame. It's just another example of Republicans unwilling to compromise. It's their way or the highway, I guess. Gotta protect the rich. God knows how much they're suffering.

Or maybe it was an honest mistake. Perhaps all of that tanning has affected his brain.
Its just an example of THE PEOPLE letting the GOP and Boehner know that since the last ginrmous stimulus was a complete failure, only adding to our debt, that there is absolutely no reason to pass another one on the proven failed transportation spending.

It proves that the PEOPLE want the SPENDING to STOP.

This country is suffering; it goes well beyond the simplistic Communist class warfare mantra of "poor vs. rich".

I can't get excited about this one. John Boehner knew he was being set up for a hit job on Sunday morning national television. Our weasel-in-chief had already singled him out and his allies at the NYT duly trotted out a tired old hit piece (lobbyists - gasp!!!).

So he ducks. Big deal. He's a politician, that's what they do. It left Bob Schieffer with nothing but trying to beat him up over his smoking - imagine old Bob Schieffer going after Obama for his smoking.

The GOP doesn't have to do a thing but sit back and watch Obama sink under the weight of his own failed policies, and its not John Boehner's job to provide the media any ammo to fight back for Obama.

Schieffer did mention Obama and suggested that both he and Boehner try to quit. Besides, Boehner and Obama don't hold the same title. I think it's a stretch to suggest that the House Minority Leader should be given the same reverence as the President.
