I can't put my finger on it but where I do believe you'd like one party in power I doubt your sincerity when it comes to endorsing Republicans or conservatives in general.
Right! Obama and Democrats (liberals) are commies that want to destroy America. Exactly my point! That's why America should have a one party system with Republicans as the only party. The reasons are in the OP.
Thank You Joe McCarthy! You know what I call Repugs? A afterthought of a wet dream dribbling down their thigh!
Thanks, gal. I'm glad you get my point. Everybody except Republicans is screwed up. This country should have only Republicans in positions of authority.
This would get us only half way there. The "final solution" is of course the rounding up and gassing of all non-God fearin' Republicans. Only then will the world witness it's first true utopia.
In a funny way I think a one party system would be best, although not the way you mean. If everyone was in the same party, it would effectively be a no-party system. Voters would actually vote for the person and not the party affiliation.
If I could design things this is exactly what I'd do. We need to start voting issues, not agendas and listen to the words that come out of the mouths of politicans, not their propaganda on tv.
Effectively we HAVE a one party system. It has two faces. They feed off each other and keep people distracted so they don't see the reality that its a system that nobody is really worried about making work.
Effectively this is a one party country and the party is the Ownership Party. Only mega millionaires can join and use their money to control both the Republican and Democratic political parties. Our Republic has become a charade carefully orchestrated to give the illusion that the electorate has any real control of the national policy.
Well, until we can clean house (Nov. 2nd) and get the progressives and RINOs out of office it is pretty much a one party system already, Socialist vultures, IMO.
I have this vision of the Republicans walking into the the House with a broom in hand (remember that gigantic gavel) announcing a clean sweep.
Then they hand that broom to Pelosi and say, 'Here, fly THIS back to California'!

I actually agree in a way. We should be voting for the individual not the party, as most do. We would all be independents! The chances of this happening are zilch. Way too many sheep on both sides of the aisle.

Your chilidish sarcasm backfires when the same argument is made about nanny state liberals.
Why not just have the O-Party? Since all followers of Obama know what is best for each and every person in America. They know what is best for each and every person in terms of climate change, healthcare costs, tax brackets.
In today's political forum the left loves to interfere with our lives as much as the right.
