A political "win" is not always a "win" for society in general. Many of the items listed by the OP, while popular, have proven to be harmful to this nation either morally or economically.

The ones in bold are not liberal ideas.
But I voted that if liberalism is taken to its full course it results in failure. Look at California, their liberal policies and public sector unions have destroyed the economy and its moral compass. Medicare & Medicaid are in the red for tens of trillions in unfunded liabilities, and threaten to destroy our economy.

Winning is all that matters.
It is stupid...but then so are a LOT of members modern day American society...
What a left wing rant. Liberals are enlightened tolerant multicultural progressive intelligent individuals and Conservatives are all evil or a bunch of bigots. Another thing is that you seem to be confusing traditionalists with conservatives. Traditionalists concentrate on the past. Progressives concentrate on change. Conservatives concentrate on truth, law, order and religion/philosophy (God).

I have seen a lot on these forums and I didn't think I could be surprised anymore but this thread and the responses have done just that!
Unbelievable that some people see things from such a immature vantage point. And somewhat scary too.
I'm actually glad that they think that they are winning whatever game they are playing because it could be truly frightening if they were not. Like a child throwing a tantrum.

Also, just look at all of the "news" articles that come out of fox"news". they are all OMG, WTF they are taking away my guns, removing my god, those people are anti-american, indoctrinating our children, the gays are taking over, god damn muslims are going to kill us, "news articles". and anytime there's a culture "news" article, just look at the hate spewed by the sheeple that follow their site.
