IT looks like the words of the White House will come back to haunt them.

Obama and company have spent the past 2 years pointing the finger back to Bush...Everything that has taken place in the economy is the result of Bush's work...Isn't that what they've been claiming...That their programs are only NOW being fruitful.

So, as the government now recognizes that in 2009 the recession started turning around...Don't forget to thank Mr. Bush.

You can't have it both ways now - Can you?

I would say Mr. Obama and company are not looking too smart right now. They enjoyed their childish fingerpointing for the past 2 years....Now it is biting them on the ass.

Indeed, especially considering that throughout 2009 and even part of this year the administration was making excuses that "enough time had not passed" for their plans to take effect. It will be interesting to see the backpedaling over the next few months..

Do you want to say that Obama turned things around in just 5 or 6 months and the Dems have been whining for a year and a half about how not enough time had passed for them to turn the mistakes of Bush around and yet they have used some kind of special calendar to prove that the recession ended in June of 2009. I don't think anybody needs a calendar other than those "economists" who are working for Obama.

Nat, today Obama's group of economists who are to determine things like this reported that although jobs hadn't been found the recession had ended in June of 2009. The people at Fox News were astounded at this news but those people swore they were right.

Oh no wonder I missed it. Whenever Obama's name comes up on the television or radio, I change the channel.

It was on Fox all day, I guess. I didn't get to spend a lot of time watching TV but did hear this more than once. Actually Obama's name wasn't mentioned on the first one other than to say that it was his group that made the report.
