Thank you for expressing the mental process of a Tea Partier....LOL

Put a man on the Moon in 1969. Hardly the dark ages.

So why were they wrong in 1972 but correct in 1974?

Was 1973 an age of enlightenment?

Politics masquerading as science. Just like global warming "science."

I don't think it's so much an identity disorder as a moral disorder (an inclination to an immoral act). A considerable percentage of people DO feel an attraction for the same sex, and this is not a sin in itself. However, sodomy is a grave sin, and any inclination to that sin can be said to be a moral disorder. It's like pedophilia in that sense; pedophiles cannot easily remove their attraction to children, but they can refrain from sexual activity with them.

The Tea Party wouldn't be the Tea Party without bashing scientists, Professors, knowledgable experts, etc.

This is a cult, an anti-intellectual cult.

Having a degree of higher learning is a bad thing!

Sin? You're deluded by religious myths. Really, the Bible is utter trash.

The agenda of the far right is anti-intellectual. I have seen far too many posts bashing college professors and scientists. The right was definitely successful in their attempt to dumb down America.

The word disorder somehow suggests it could or should be cured.
