You're going to get your wish. Considering that approximately 2/3rds of the country WANTS the HC bill repealed, are you sure you really want that to happen?

Here's just one more in a LONG list of polls that tells us how unpopular obamacare is;

And nearly three-quarters said that when they consider who to support in the midterm elections, it is important that the candidate back a repeal of the new healthcare law signed by Obama earlier in the year.

"Healthcare was an unambiguous disaster for him," Schoen said. He added: "At each juncture, people said, 'Well, when people figure out the good news in the healthcare bill, it's going to turn around.'
Hasn't happened, has it? the popularity of obamacare has gotten WORSE since he signed it into law and it looks like the democrats will be paying for what they did at the ballot box.

Doug Shoen is a democrat pollster.

This came out last week from your buddies and it doesn't look good for repeal.

FOX News/Opinion Dynamics Poll. Sept. 14-16, 2010. N=900 registered voters nationwide. Margin of error ± 3.

"Thinking about the health care law that was passed earlier this year, would you favor repealing the new law to keep it from going into effect, or would you oppose repealing the new law?"

Favor
repealing Oppose
repealing Unsure
% % %

9/14-16/10

44 43 12

You got that? A slight majority oppose repeal. .Not in your wildest dream will it be repealed.

The more we learn about all the nasty details contained in the bill, the more popular repeal becomes.

They won't be able to actually repeal obamacare because bambam has the veto pen, but what they can do is defund certain aspects of the bill.

I am not a huge fan of "Obamacare" because I think it is, overall, just a partial reform of a broken system which, crucially, does not address the cost issue.

But, if anyone imagines that this will get repealed in its entirety then they are smoking something that isn't legal. The reality is that the parts of the bill covering pre-existing conditions and recission are popular ones which benefit ordinary Americans. The Republicans will not risk political suicide by trying to repeal them.

What does money matter once you actually get to know children suffering from diseases through no fault of their own...

If that were all obamcare did, it would be no problem.

It's not though. The federal government will have their clutches on everyone's HC, dictating what kind of coverage we need, mandating how much we have to pay, choosing what plans we can have, all the while raising taxes on each and every one of us (to help pay for the free ride for others), cutting benefits and rationing care.

Not to mention creating a massive NEW bureaucracy - tell me, what bureaucracy do they run now in an efficient, cost effective manner that is NOT trillion in debt with unfunded liabilities?
