I don't keep up with colleges unless something silly like this gets reported. Long article about the nonsense going on at a publicly funded university before and since the election. They recently released emails from their president after stalling.

President Schlissel said he was “overwhelmed with uncertainty” because Trump won the election. The 59-year-old Schlissel, whose lifetime has included the Sept. 11 terror attacks and the fall of the Berlin Wall, described Trump’s narrow election victory as “unlike anything” he has “ever lived through.”

“Post-election Self-care with Food and Play.” The University of Michigan Law School’s embedded psychologist, Reena Sheth, was going to host of the event. “Join us for delicious and comforting food with opportunity to experience some stress-busting, self-care activities such as coloring sheets, play dough [sic], positive card-making, Legos, and bubbles with your fellow
law students."

God help these students when, as lawyers, they have to deal with murderers and pedophiles.
Schlissel is the fourth-highest paid employee on the U of M’s campus, salary was $772,000 per year.

It appears no university, no matter how prestigious, is immune from absurd liberal lunacy.

The appeal of US universities is even declining with international students.
Applications are down 40%.

Educators blamed Trump. The students though say perceptions of US college education have changed.
Germany, UK and the Netherlands are becoming more popular places for international students.

It's because our Universities have become too expensive for foreign students. I'm not sure I would pay the tuition that they want foreign students to pay if I weren't an American, either.

Even Americans are going to Germany for a college education due to costs.

Yes...U of M is definitely one of this country’s finest universities.

There’s no “supposed” about it. It is!

Anectdotally, I have a couple of friends that have done their graduate work in the EU. One friend just left for Switzerland.

We are definitely pricing ourselves out of competition.

What is your point?

Isn’t Wharton “the best school” according to one of its graduates, Donald Trump? And Trump has trouble finishing sentences and constructing coherent sentences?

the sentiment outside the USA is that we are no longer friendly or welcoming. A huge blow to our schools if this is true. Those revenues subsidize domestic students and help keep our prices down.

education of foreign nationals in the USA has been a huge earner for the nation, would hate to see one of our best domestically based services loss that income...
