This was at least funny! I remember seeing and hearing the BP oil executives try to explain away other issues; now that wasn’t funny, nor were the executives from the auto industry, or the Wall Street bankers, or ,,,,,,, naaaaaw there’s too many to deal with. Good work Colbert, you made the “points†but did “they†understand them?
The amusing part was Colbert's line referring to actually wanting to be on CSPAN1. At that very moment, CSPAN1 was televising the testimony from DOJ Voting Rights Christopher Coates to the Civil Rights Commission. The hearing was to gather testimony regarding the DOJ dropping the case against the New Black Panthers for voting rights violations in Philadelphia, in 2008.
Naturally, the MSM will be all too willing to play along. They fully understand how damaging the DOJ Black Panther case is to the Obama Administration and have no desire to come anywhere near covering it.
I don't care political leanings. If you didn't nearly s--t your pants when he said "he doesn't want a tomato picked by a mexican,etc.. etc.. ----- and a brazilian", you aren't alive. That was funny.
I wonder what the sideshow cost the taxpayers. What a load of crap and an embarrassment for the democrats.
This is a statement I 100% disagree with. This was an embarassment for EVERYONE. Not because of Colbert, but because he was so dead on with the bull-hit within our government.
Good Lord that was an embarrassment for the Dems. They invite a guy who represents the way many of their constituents think (like clowns) and he proceeds to act like a clown in front of Congress.
That is simply classic. I can't even think of anything to say that could make the Left look more foolish than he did. I mean wow!
