Are you willing to end our petroleum wars to pay the cost of protecting the border?
Hell yeah! Open up the ANWR to drilling and severely cut back our dependence on foreign oil. Then use the money saved (what are we spending daily in those mid-east countries, about 30 million?) to take care of issues that are threatening our way of life a little closer to home. I mean, for heavens sake, OUR OWN border patrol is retreating to "safer" areas. I don't know about you, but knowing this does not make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Maybe you hadn't heard, the oil companies sell the Alaska Oil to Japan, it doesn't get here.
Ah, so you want the government to dictate where private industry can sell their product? How does that square with the conservative "small government" agenda?
