What a surprise! Another hypocrite Tea Party candidate. Does Mrs. Angle think that she can keep these dirty little "Socialist/Big Government" secrets hidden? Apparently so if you look at her platform.

Throughout her campaign for U.S. Senate in Nevada, GOP candidate and tea party favorite Sharron Angle has railed against government intervention in just about everything. Angle said she wants to “personalize” Social Security, and she even went so far as to suggest the possibility of an armed insurrection against the U.S. government to protect “against a tyrannical government.” Part of Angle’s anti-government philosophy has also included health care. She wants to repeal the new health care law and recently attacked mandating coverage for autism and maternity leave. She even suggested that Medicare and VA coverage work “towards a privatized system.” But Politico notes today that Angle this week admitted that both she and her husband benefit from government subsidized health care:

Her husband worked for the Fed. He's retired..he's getting what he supposed to be getting when you work and then retire. Where's the subsidy here ?

Wow..way to twist something so simple as retirement benefits into something evil and bad.

Ohh dear. Lets go over it again...

DU, TP, LGF, etc. All are completely useless as far as supporting documents go.

Secondly, whoever wrote that piece, well its a piece of something alright.

Gee... Spit in the face of your father for the college degree he paid for kind of thing. Only this time it's coming from so called conservatives who benefit immensely from a liberal program. The irony is not lost on me.

You fail to see the hypocrisy or just pretending not to?

While it is not supplemented by the federal government, current civil servants pay into the program to pay the schedule of those already retired – much like how the Social Security Program works today.

Angle wants to privatize Medicare and VA coverage. I suppose if it does not directly affect her, she can risk jeopardizing a system that has worked and that many people rely on and paid into. Spin it any way you like, but Angle is a joke and a bad one at that!

Only, its not. Not by a long shot. See, daddy paying out the nose for a college degree is a freebie, your not expected to pay back, and its free. Now, working for a benefit then using said benefit is part of compensation, something you earned. Understand?

No..honestly I didn't get it. No pretending here.

As you just pointed out...medicare and VA coverage..but NO mention of governent pension healthcare coverage.

I saw "subsidized" and that threw me off when I read the article.
I thought medicaid as I was reading the article..hence my question on the subsidy.

"His health insurance plan (the Federal Employee Health Program), which also covers Sharron, is a continuation of what he was receiving while he worked for the federal government.”
