It comes as no surprise. He's proven time and time again he has no respect for the Constitution, why would anyone expect him to have any respect for the findings of a court/jury?

Besides, we know he was just channeling Dr Strangelove Cheney when he did it.

Bush left the fine, conviction and probation in effect. He probably would have liked to have waited until after the next election but the judge wanted Scooter in jail ASAP. Which kind of pushed Bush's hand.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Bush outright pardoned him when he leaves office.

Question Over crowded jails

Our prisons are overfilled with criminals how can we possible add more to them from this administration?

More Bush-Rethuglicons-Decepticon behavior. Don't think he did it because it was the noble thing to do. He did it because Libbey got dirt for days on that corrupt incompetent administration. I often wondered what it was like to live during the Nixon years and now, unfortunatley, I finally got the answers....Sad Sad Sad!!!!!!

Dick Cheney should have been charged with treason.

I hope this spurs the Dems to pursue charges. No VP should be allowed to commit treason.

Guts? The only thing it's a sign of is how much The Dick is running things. Bush couldn't find fortitude in the dictionary.

But I'll give him credit, by the time he's back on the ranch where he can't harm the country any longer he will have left no room for doubt that he's the worst former president in US history.

A breathe of relief for Scooter! Now he won’t have to worry about making any truthful comments to any of the other prisoners that he might have had conversations with. And I know that this is also a relief for George not to worry about loose lips sinking ships.
