I think all of the name calling is juvenile. It really does not matter what side of the political spectrum we are on. We are ALL Americans and just disagree on how the government should waste our money. Calling each other *******s and republiKLANs etc is a waste of time and causes the majority of the readers to disregard anything of actual substance you might be trying to get across in your posts. Vote how you want to vote, but leave the elementary schoolyard mentality out of the discussion of issues.

Is there a federal ban on the word like liberals did with the world "mental retardation" in legislation, regulations, and all federal paperwork?

How Ironic the thread above this one right now is about making comments about gays. That seems to be offensive to the left but calling the right whatever name they wish seems to be acceptable.

Oh the mighty double standard

Oh the mighty double standard
i wonder how the 'but they call themselves that!!' angle would work on the thread you mentioned.

It is a profane term, why wouldn't it be?

I'm comforted by the fact that we've put a "Forbidden Speech Czar "in place, just in time for an election.

Do you feel better? Good

Now dont complain when someone makes a slur against gays, or race or whatever that might offend you.

As well it should be. I'm sure those healthy adults who participate in various bedroom activities are horrified to be linked by association to a bunch of far right loonies. For the legions of Beck, it's lights out and jackrabbit sex, missionary style.
With their eyes closed, and only for procreation.

Prayer meeting to follow.
