I think that christians can overcome their beliefs in mythology and change their views based on reality.

people cling to religion because it provides emotional security and answers when we as humans have none.. nevermind the fact that what these religions spew is utter rubbish and now we're learning ignorant and hateful...
it's like mindless sheep following some fat white old man who claims authority for himself in the name of god.. I mean really?
Boy, talk about somebody choosing to be a bigot!

Its time that people realize that Sexuality is fluid in nature and can change at any stage of life. Certain sexual traits are addictions, and some persons who think they might be gay or bisexual may simply have a sex addiction. There is no way that homosexuality is a innate characteristic of a person. It really is a shame that there is so much mythology surrounding this topic.

Most mental disorders can be fixed with the right support but when society accepts the disorder as normal then there is no hope for a cure.

Ha ha ha. So cute. He's 86 years old, has been married for over 50 years, has ten children and dozens of grandchildren. He's not gay, however hilarious you might find it if he were.

Ridiculous. Here's a better version of what you wrote: When certain individuals decide that they know better than what decades of research into sexual orientation have shown, there is no hope for their bigotry.

Too bad being gay isn't a mental illness. Must be hard on homophobes.

I don't think hardcore homophobes are capable of feeling remorse or of reexamining their bigoted opinions.
