Well ,what flies in the face of this statement is the fact that I have had 2 customers leave Wa state where were going broke, and go to Texas where they have been working non stop for the last 3 months, as someone else said ,they told me there is no recession down there.

Personal anecdotes aren't a substitute for hard data.

Considering that California's labor force is much larger than that of Texas, it makes Texas look even worse. I guess putting Republicans in charge isn't so good for the economy after all.

The difference in numbers is 600 jobs... 600 jobs.

You're talking about 2 states with a combined population of about 62 million people not counting a few million illegals.

That difference of 600 jobs is funny at best given the number of people who live in those states... that being said, anyone stupid enough to argue that California's economy right now is superior to Texas's economy will never give up arguing that because you have to be insane just to make that kind of claim.

We are still building homes down here like there is a boom. No just crackerjack homes, but multi million dollar homes.

And selling them to people who fled Kalifornia so that their kids could live a better life.

Republicans have always been in charge in Texas.
Doesn't help though that we have more transplants coming every day than jobs available.

Only a liberal thinks this way. It is hilarious and analgous to "jobs saved".

Here is the analogy- The rate of cooling on the surface of this sun is greater than that of the moon. Therefore the moon is hotter than the sun.

I am constantly amused by the "facts" and analysis with which liberals attempt to engage the "unenlightened", as thier logic is childish and clumsy. However, those with marginally superior intellects are often confused by the simplest of statistics, which is a baffling and puzzling science for those with little or no knowledge of mathematics. It is amazing. Spin us some more liberal yarns such that we may gain some comfort in humor while others suffer at the hands of democratic fiscal incompetence.

The unemployment rate in California is 12.4%

The uneployment rate in Texas is 8.3%

Regional and State Employment and Unemployment Summary

Let's vote..................

You can spin it any way you want, but the fact remains that Texas lost more jobs than California in August.

You're seriously stomping on the ground over that? One month? Especially when the article you linked says

Quote:
From August 2009 to last month, Texas added the most jobs of any state — 129,100 — while California lost the most — 112,800.
?

Really?
