There's a large Fundamentalist Christian movement within the military. I'm sure you've read articles about it...at least I would assume so.
So when a group like Al Al-Qaeda claims American attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan are nothing more than part of a latter day religious war.... Who are we to say otherwise when the evidence is on their side?

I posted some in the very first article. You may have missed that. It also came to light there were religion hazing incidents, as well as Christianity being taught and encouraged, to Air Force Academy recruits in Colorado Springs.

The left, due to thier hatred of Christianity, is put in the very uncomfortable position of supporting Islam- a faith that they know is barbaric and brutal- as a foil against Christianity. With this very uncomfortable "alliance", the left awkwardly rationalizes the brutal and oppressive tenets of Islam and attempts to minimize small issues like stonings, beheadings, and honor killings. It is akin to Monty Python and the Holy Grail scene in which the lord of castle states, "Let's not bicker about who killed who. This is a festive occasion!", after Sir Lancelot slaughters dozens of members of a wedding party.
The left, due to policy established by Stalin and the Frankfurt School, has targeted Christianity as an impediment to the spread of socialism. As dutiful "useful idiots", leftists have incorporated thier anti-Christian views into thier "core values" with little examination of how this happened or the origins of "their thoughts". They only "know" that Christianity is "bad" and have limited intellectual capacity to examine exactly why and how Christianity is "bad". The exercise of leftist Christian hate has all the academic credence of primitive man engaging in a conversation about theoretic physics- there may be alot of action, but little substance.
Traditional elements of evil in the past have always sought allies in the past in thier "war" against Christianity. The Nazis embraced Islamic forces (there were two Muslim SS divisions) as a foil against Christianity, much in the same way the modern left uses Isalm as an ally against Christianity today. When one is examining a political or ethical positon, it is often instructive to examinie the character of the elements that support the same view. In this case, many of the recognized villians of history and absolute evil forces have shared opposition against Christianity. The left, by thier association, is in the good company of the forces of evil and should be happy to carry that banner.
