I don't know. On that video they didn't look too law abiding or orderly, breaking down police barricades and stampeding. I wouldn't say that's a "right" leaning trait by any stretch of the imagination.

They want strict law and order and expanded police power to be used against everyone else.

When it comes to themselves, it's a different story.

And that has what exactly to do with the right-wing?

They have Jewish members. Historically they were antisemitic but now they realize they and the Jews have a common enemy and they are joining forces.

The BNP doesn't even like whites with roots outside the British Isles although it has some members of white non-British and non-Irish descent. The EDL admits whites of all Euro backgrounds, but was set up by the BNP to include those whites who agree with their views who might have the "wrong" descent as well as the "right" descent, just like the KKK's front group, the White Citizens' Council, was set up to include Catholics who had the Klan's views but whose religion disqualified them from being Klan members.

I would not want to be associated with them at all and I would hope that the tea party does not want to be associated with them.
I've read up on the English Defence League a bit, and while they definately are against the creeeping Islamification of Britian, what proof do you have that they were set-up or controlled by the BNP? Undoubtably they share certain views, but that does not make them a front for the BNP.

Sounds like the BNP wants to Mexify the laws in the UK. You know, a certain law that Mexico has that says they can block foreigners from settling in the country and booting out foreigners that threaten to change the demographics of Mexico? This is funny. Because it's always racist if white people do it, but if minorities like Mexicans do, then it's ok. It's either not racist for all groups, or they are all racist.

Hypocrisy is certainly not confined to the right wing. But they have right wing views on social issues - for everyone else, not themselves. When it comes to economic and environmental issues, they're VERY left.

It's rare to find the BNP/EDL in heavily Tory areas and very few disgruntled Tories are in those groups. Tories who believe the current Conservative Party is too moderate and centrist flock to the United Kingdom Independence Party, who while opposing immigration and the EU are not racist and who generally follow conservative, free market oriented policies. They have Jewish, black, and Asian members including even Muslim members.

The BNP & UKIP were slaughtered at the last general election, in fact none of these parties holds a seat in Parliament.
