Sure there are people who are living lies to please others ,but they're not being true to themselves. Everyone should be able to have a happy life without the torment and degradation of someone else. Walmart should be boycotted for carrying
such a vile, discrimanatory book.

Hate is not a family value.
I agree with everything but the highlighted. As has been stated by others on the thread, if you don't like the book, don't buy it. I, for one, won't be buying it. As for boycotting Walmart over this book, does that mean you'll also be boycotting Amazon, Borders and Barnes & Noble? Because, though I've not checked beyond Amazon, I'd bet that both of the others, not to mention most other bookstores carry this book. Especially those like Waldenbooks that is advertised as a "Christian" bookstore. So, if I want the bookstores I frequent (as well as any other store that sells books) to continue to carry the books I like despite others not liking them, I just have to put up with once in a while seeing a book I don't like.

Boycotts are kind of hypocritical...because you're doing the same thing as the person who is being bigoted, aren't you? Punishing someone for having a different point of view?

Yep. I'd say censorship is the Chinese government controlling what people can see online and the Iranian government blocking sites. Trying to make something unattainable by all and putting a ban on it is censorship. But if one place chooses not to carry it, I don't see how different that is from the bakers who didn't want to make rainbow cupcakes. It's a personal business choice. A stupid one, cause you alienate customers, but a choice nonetheless.

lol. boo hoo.

Are you suggesting it's wrong to carry that? Isn't that kind of judgmental and bigoted to suggest they're wrong?

And tolerance is only important if you're a moonbat trying to get people to tolerate you?

Ohh....I see........this is a book by mormons! No wonder! Not only does it offend the libs by daring to suggest that their pet issue, homosexuality, is wrong.....it's written by cultists! So Christians will hate it, too.

Should we "boycott Walmart" also because they carry PRO gay books?
