What makes you believe that people have children so they can [latch onto? live off of? leech off?] the government teat?

I know the Federal Government subsidizes it, but the States take the biggest hit on Welfare.

Should you be yelling at your State for things the Federal Government mandates that they do?
You are correct it is ran by the state.......I live in Illinois where it seems that they almost promote it......lol

Is there anyone in this discussion who wouldn't feed a hungry person who showed up asking for food? I doubt it.
I will offer food, but not money.....lol.....

So, according to you, the poor slob who had a good job for many years before it was shipped off to China, and who subsequently went to work at McDonald's and Burger King, working two jobs which even together don't generate as much income as he made before, should be kicked off any sort of public assistance because he should have foreseen that happening before he had kids?

Gee, isn't it painful living with a heart and brain of pure stone?
Was that part of the news story, or did you just make this up as you went along?

If the federal government mandates it, and then funds it, is it really a state program?

I'll bet I could find one of the most impoverished places in the US as a basis for an article I would write just to get bs emotional responses.

What's the big picture?

"Every person they interviewed" can be that they only interviewed people who were using food stamps.
This "article" reeks, but it sells.

American's are very pissed off right now. Democrats would like for you to believe its because of the economy or because the President is dark skinned. But I have a completely different point of view. I believe its because hard-working American's have got up out of bed every day, for decades, held their head high as they trudged off to work to do what's right by their family and their country - only to see their focus and work ethic undermined by the philanderers of our tax dollars. Meanwhile, they've tried to ignore the very things that bother them, such as points mentioned in the OP, until the point that they can no longer swallow what's going on in this country.

I believe what we're seeing right now goes far beyond Democrat vs Republican politics. I believe the constituency has reached its boiling point and is damn near spilling over into outright chaos. American's are tired of the Nanny State/Welfare Nation that this country has devolved into. I believe the current economic mess has merely been a catalyst for throwing people into action for real change. Not the change that a used car salesman with a teleprompter can promise to bring, but the kind of change that will put this country into a completely different orbit.

It's coming. Grab your popcorn, sit back, and enjoy the show. These days are just the beginning.

hahahaha, omg, 1985 called, it wants its racist stereotypes back

Sorry, but I'm alot more angry with these white collared greedy *bleeps* that have screwed our country with their neverending money lust than I am with some people who have kids and are "living the high life" with their $600/month government stipend.
