Do you undersdtand how mortgage lending works?

Borrower buys a 300K home with a 5% down payment

Bank takes borrower's 15K downpayment and cuts a check to the seller for 300K

Borrower defaults

Bank forecloses

Before they can auction the property they spend 15K bringing property taxes current, paying attornies, conducting a title 5 inspection, paying state recording fees, making neccessary repairs, and etc etc etc.

They auction the home for 300K (and that's a stretch in any foreclosure scenario)

How is the bank the winner here?

BTW: my experience is based on working ten years in the mortgage industry. Yours is based on some nitwit's google video.
You're either in denial... or you're ignoring history... either way the banks are out to steal your house...

Face it niether does the party of Guilt, that is what the Dem motto should be. They don't give a damn about fixing our illegal problem, which is something that needs to be addressed, but acting as if we have no problem, makes my head want to explode. THEY ARE NOT THE PARTY OF IT, BUT THE PARTY OF FREELY GIVING. So many entitlement programs, people on welfare who should not be and bleend the system dry, people that expect and take take take, but don't want to work in return, this is not right. And some of the very rich deserve every freaking penny they earn, and there are those in life, who are on welfare, and don't deserve, go figure. The rich are those that invest, not the poor. Bottom line stop making excuses for your party, as if they are doing a bang up job for us, this economy plain sucks, the enemployment situation is one of the worse, it sucks big time, and still going on a housing crisis, a lot of help your Dems are, ha! NEITHER PARTY really cares about us at all, and one is very good at playing the blame game, can you guess which one!

It's not your house until it's paid out. Remember it's called a mortgage aka dead pledge.

It's not a Google video made by me... It's a video from 1995 about how our current crisis is a repetition of U.S. History...

I never said you made the video but I'm not surprised to see that someone who actually believes that banks want to foreclose on properties has serious reading comprehension issues.

Why do you think there is a current moratorium on foreclosures?... to make sure there's full disclosure and that they're not being rushed...

Based on your response, it's obvious you had no response to his retort which contained substance and made sense. Rather than concede he was right, the best you could do was offer this drivel

LOL, the industry has a self imposed moratorium and it is probably going to hurt housing.
