LOL. I have to hand it to my oldest daughter who brainwashed ME. She started watching the O'Reilly Factor at 15, long before I did, and read his books before I did. She's now in her mid 20's, and at work listens to Rush, Hannity, and to Michael Savage on her drive home. She didn't need us to make up her mind for her, and I was never that into politics before she got interested. She is the most conservative young Republican I know, and a hard working capitalist. She runs a business - has two stores -and doesn't like B.O.'s socialist attitude.

LOL. I have to hand it to my two teenage sons. They are both straight A students. One has his own online graphic design business the other works with youth programs. They easily recognize the propaganda on the right wing talk shows and can verbalize facts that counter the primitive arguments made by the right wing. I didn't need to sell them on anything. Because of their bright, inquisitive, independent thinking minds, they were able to come to their own intelligent conclusions. I am amazed at how ahead they are! They have more sense than a thousand tea partiers and Palin combined!

BTW, sorry to learn you were brainwashed. It is epidemic among the conservative talk show listeners.

Smart girl. Congratulations on raising a successful free-market capitalist.

More and more business owners are realizing the terrible mistake they made in voting for the most anti-business president this nation has ever known.

I wouldn't brag about your daughter taking a bunch of clowns seriously. Intelligent conservatives don't take them seriously either. Congratulations to your daughter for being so successful- it's just too bad that her business sense clearly does not translate into other facets of her intellectual life.

I have never been a fan of Obama. I am a far left liberal but might have voted for McCain if he was the McCain of 2000. Unfortunately, the McCain of 2010 clearly held no power in his own campaign. Sarah Palin is proof of that. McCain of 2000 and Massachusetts Romney? That would have been doable.

However, I can't blame Obama for the economy. After all, I have studied higher level economics (with conservative professors no less). To blame Obama (or Bush for that matter) shows a deep lack of basic economics understanding. Has he done enough? I don't think so.

I have no idea if I will vote for him in 2012. There are no Republicans on the horizon that I could feel morally OK with. They have hung themselves by their own rope. Continuing to be socially conservative will keep them in a negative light to the educated youth of this country.

So glad to hear about your daughter! I hope my daughter turns out to be such a lovely young lady.

Thanks! I'm sure your daughter will. You just need to guide them, and let them have their own opinions.

Good grief! Why does that myth persist? The facts of who pays what have been posted on C-D MANY times, and you're still parroting that propaganda lie? Get a clue!
