when it applies to issues like

1. Medical Marijuana
2. Stem Cell Research
3. Gay Marriage
4. Abortion Rights

If Conservatives and Republicans are truly about less government intervention, why do they use the government to intervene in these social issues? For example, how does a gay couple getting married infringe upon the rights of a conservative couple? How does legalizing medical marijuana for terminally ill patients and elderly patients with chronic illnesses infringe upon the rights others?

It's just more hypocrisy from the Right, can you at least admit that?

Yes of course it is, what do you expect. Both major parties have been hijacked, and molested, so that they represent nobody's values.

Republicans are for small federal government . Republicans are for more power to the individual states. Give them the money , let the states decide on how to spend it. I prefer that. Big federal government is more restrictive and take away the individual power of the states. This is not good as Arizona is now being sued for their stand of illegal immigration. The federal government will try to crush the states with their power as they pass more federal laws into every aspect of our lives.

We are a nation of laws.
1. marijuana is illegal
2. Stem cell reasearch kills embryos
3. marriage is defined, by law as one man and one woman. It has been that way forever.
4. Abortions kill babies.

any questions

I'm from Arizona. And the State wants to pass more laws that restrict individual communities. I'm just beginning to think though, that the Average American is no longer conscience enough, to handle freedom...and that we are getting the GVT we deserve. Don't know where else on Earth I can move, though.

That's interesting since under Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush 41, and Bush 44, the number of Federal Employees rose, not one single Federal department has ever been eliminated or even reduced nor has any power been transfered to the states.

Exactly. You people realize they are the same party right? If you can keep people bickering over petty issues...then nobody pays attention to the really sinister stuff.
