If it weren't so sad it would be funny. Celebrities in Hollywood or other entertainment worlds are always so liberal. They have loud voices, and so, they begin to believe the things that they and their friends say. Back when Bush was first elected I heard one young female folk singer say something along the lines of, "This must be the last small patch of conservatism." I thought, does she really believe such a thing?

Most people in the United States are conservative (unless they become super rich). I don't know what happens to people who go into the entertainment industry. They don't live like normal people. They don't do the same things that regular hardworking family-oriented Americans do.

They surround themselves with "fringe" types like themselves. They think that their ideas are representative of the rest of the country.

They are confused.

Many of them are also.....VERY, VERY RICH!!
Rich people have their own reality, and it doesn't include US, except as servants.

True. And they forget about the fact that the people they hate (honest Americans) are the ones who buy their movie tickets, DVD's, songs and CD's, etc.

Is it any different from the fringe conservatives thinking their ideas are representative of the rest of the country?

There are plenty of conservative celebrities, they're just not as loud and obnoxious as the liberal ones. I'm a liberal and I think most celebrities are loud, crass and ridiculous.

Yea..Jon Voight, Tom Selleck, Chuck Norris, James Woods, Britney Spears, Gary Sinise, and 99% of the country music stars are confused.

Yeah? Kelsey Grammer is a well known "liberal"...and a substance abuser. Schwarzenegger too--and he shouldn't even be allowed to vote. Dang foreigner.
