So it's not unreasonable for the Republican Party to make a push, even if it's symbolic to end these programs.

Exactly what jobs are there out there to send their butts to?

Yeah remove all those handouts to some of those middle class out of work people & just see what happens!
Gotta love 'the I got me mine so sc*** everybody having hard times crowd'.

I'm not talking about the people who have genuinely fallen on hard times. But alas, far be it from me to assume people on this forum actually use their brains to understand what I'm saying.

Welfare reform ≠ removing all entitlements.

I'm thick skinned so your personal attack on my 'brains' or as you believe 'lack' of them easily rolls off my shoulders because I consider the source.

You could add up all of the cost of those who abuse the system & it wouldn't touch the amount of money our politicians steal. Both sides.

It does take some brains to realize that the abuse that goes on is allowed to continue because of the hundreds of thousands it would cost to hire people to track abusers down, prosecute them & order them to pay back the money. This would be the cost in 1 state alone, now add the cost of ALL of them.
Why don't you focus some of that obvious hatred towards the corporate theft that goes on in this country & leave those unfortunate people who collect food stamps alone.

One in Eight on Food Stamps (Obama, crime, retired, program)
Obama and the dems must be so proud. They are well on their way to achieving their goal of more people than ever dependent on the government.

Meanwhile, the USDA hires more people to administer the ever-increasing handouts.
Jobs created!

Not a personal attack at all. Just a comment on how people on here love to pretend they don't understand what I'm saying so they can turn it around to try to make me look bad. It's not just me, it's the conservatives on here in general who have to defend themselves from a liberal attack and people who try to spin their words.

Can smokers buy cigarette products with food stamps? Beer? Liquor? Wine?
