The Obama-haters act as if virtually all of America is anti-Obama. How can they be so blind and ignorant of history? Are they watching too much Fox News?
While I see the parallel with Reagan and Clinton at the same point in their presidency, I have to wonder, Are people telling pollsters that they like the President, simply because they don't want to appear racist?

I whole heartedly agree that the President can turn things around in less than two years for himself. Working with Republicans will make him seem "centric". If the Republicans just say no to everything, then they'll appear to be obstructionists. The President will put forward some measure that is very popular with most people, and if Republicans refuse to budge, they start looking like they don't support most hard working people.

Reagan got results for the policies he enacted. What has Obama gotten other than higher and higher UE numbers, record levels of foreclosures, and record levels of debt to show for it.

These two couldn't be more dissimilar and Obama will not be re-elected. Reagan's policies were good for the country. Obama's are disastrous, we can already see that. His poll numbers will continue to plummet as UE and foreclosures continue to climb. Too bad it will be another 2 years before we can get someone in there who actually knows what the hell they're doing.

Ha, ha.

Only because of ridiculous polls from ABC and Newsweek, clearly outliers, that show him somehow with a positive approval vs disapproval.

The reality is in the individual states, where he is completely underwater in the vast majority, where he CANNOT go to campaign for the democrats.

That's because we want this bill repealed and a single payer public opition put in its place.

Default no relevance to Ronny

"Obama's approval ratings...."

Enjoy that irrelevant bit of information. As the Obama bus goes over the cliff, it's best to be the eternal optimist, at least until the bus stops falling when hits the bottom.

You're not comparing apples to apples.....Obama's poll was done by the Society for Human Resource Management/National Journal Congressional Connection Poll, conducted with the Pew Research Center and Reagan's poll was through Gallup polling almost three decades ago.

Actually, I would think Obama's approval ratings would be higher, considering that nearly half of Americans don't pay any income tax and Obama continues to promise to continue "spreading the wealth". You'd think he'd at least be at 50% approval, with many more taxpaying liberal approving as well.

I disagree; the hardworking people who support the Republicans have proved that they never learn. Why else would the Republicans continue the same disrespectful manipulation of them?

Just like Democrats manipulate their base with straw men like, social security, abortion, and "foreign money" that the democrats have been taking themselves.

Both parties do it to their base, its not just a Republican thing.

Do you know what a straw man is?

Social Security = bad? Right to privacy and legal abortion = bad? I have no clue what you meant by "'foreign money' that the democrats have been taking themselves".
